purple doves! Prince is releasing an interview dvd on the 29th of october!!!!
i thought we wouldnt get anything from prince for ages, scine he said he wanted to take time out to study his religion etc! Its really cool of him! Is there a chance he'll release any of the earth tour on dvd? (i hope so!) | |

I do not think it has any Prince interviews. I think it is a bunch of mostly 20+ year old interviews with some of the people that knew Prince before he was a star. | |

It is listed on Amazon UK.
This is not officaly from Prince. Look at the box it says "no music or performances by the artist" this is NOT from Prince, this is not official. If Prince is in it at all it will surprise me. I am thinking this is the same as the one from years ago (with Dwayne Nelson). Another give away that this is not official is the photo is a paparazzi photo and NOT from a photo shoot so Prince can not claim to own it. | |

It might not be official, but if its going cheap then it might be worth a looksie. The oh-so-cheap and oh-so-unofficial 'Prince' DVD that I got from HMV was good. And yes, the cover photo was totally scanned from another source by the looks of things! Oh, and the track listing was nothing like what is actually on the DVD! But it was still worth the money.
If its getting to be so difficult to watch music videos and interviews online (be it with the man himself or associates. I like interviews with old friends/ bandmates anyway) then these DVDs are at least something. Fair enough, saying that Prince is releasing the DVD is a bit misleading. But I'm sure Johno2's heart was in the right place: he saw a new Prince DVD was being released and wanted to spread the word.  Sounds like a real man to me...mind if I turn on the radio? | |
