I wonder U Listening to Parade the other day for the first time in 3 years and it strikes me how much I love 'I wonder U'. This song hardly seems to get a mention on here and for me it's Prince at his mercurial, creepy best (with some help from Wendy and Lisa). Any other fans of this gem?

Love that song. Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Its a nice little...umm....segment
But personally i dont really consider it as a song. For me its more a nice, little 'segment' of the medley Christopher Tracey's Parade - I wonder U - New Position. By the way, the song always reminds me a bit of I am the Wallrus from The Beatles. There is a same kind of 'tension' in the orchestral arrangement.

I think it's a little corny, but oaky.

It's one of the more forgettable moments on Parade. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

It's a great little song, with more than a little help from Wendy and Lisa. I love how Parade zooms off in several different directions at the beginning.

He just replaced his vocals with the female ones. It's a Prince/Claire Fisher song. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

It's just one great piece in the whole pie of parade. I love how the album flows with it's unheard of mix of funk/psychedelia/classical/rap. The segues are great as well as the unclassical use of classical instruments. I beg to differ with those who say it lacks funk, it's one of the funkiest albums he's ever done to my ears, you just have to get past the usage of the other influences.
