During one of the main shows (21 Nights) Prince came out and performed A Love Bizarre as the third encore. As soon as the guitar riff started I recognised the song and was really enjoying it.

When I got home later that night I decided to put it on... only to find I don't have it (I had assumed it was on one of his earlier lesser played albums).

I have since googled it and can only see that it was released on a Sheila E. album. I don't own any of her stuff so how did I know the song??

The only thing I can think of is that it's on one of the Lovesexy videos...

Anyone know if this song is on anything released by Prince?

This song was a huge hit when it was released, however, it was credited to only Sheila E even though Prince is clearly singing with her. I'm sure you have heard it on the radio many times.

yeah, it was the main hit on "Romance 1600".
it was not listed as a duet with Prince, but he was given credit for "co-producing" the song.

obviously, he'd written it because he played that song live back then just about every show that he played for a few years because it jammed so hard.

so i'm sure if you've seen a show from back then or heard a bootleg cd, you've heard that song.

Saw Krush Groove the other night. I had forgotten that she performs that song in the movie. I only remembered that she did "Hollyrock", another Prince song. I was pleasantly surprised until some Flock of Seagulls-lookin' dude started lip-synching Prince's part! As if...
