The 10 best songs that end an album I always said that there are 2 parts to a great album. The beginning and the ending. The beginning is important because it catches the listener's ear. If the song is not good then you pretty much will drag the the rest or not listen to it at all. The ending is the most dramatic part of an album to me because you want to end with a BANG! Not a BOING! So this topic salutes all songs to end a Prince album over the years. And since there are so many to choose, I want you to list the 10 best songs of your choice that ends a Prince album. For example: Purple Rain is the last song on PR. Or Partyup is the last on DM. Now for my 10 best songs. They are:

'Letitgo' is not the last song on 'Come' It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Resolution isn't all that great. But I heard that excuse from my dad when I played the album from this guy who was part of my fav. boyband... he said the last song was his favorite cuz it was the last... Well, Prince was quoted as saying that a great album needs a song with the same title. He said this in response to Jesse Johnson's album "Shockadelica" which did NOT have a song called "Shockadelica" on it (Prince wrote his own song to prove a point).
MY point is: almost all of Prince's albums have the title track situated at the first song or the last. The only exceptions really are: Prince, The Black Album, Lovesexy, D&P, , One Nite Alone.
I think Prince also agrees that you need to get 'em on the way in AND on the way out! |
