prince is looking tired... I cant really say.. cos i havent seen him play live since he came to Austraila a few years a ago.. but from looking at the 3121 website footage of london show .. hes sounding tired.... his moves seem rehursed and his voice not as dynamic as usual..
dont get me wrong.. i still think he's brilliant, but it would be sad if he just looses his spark like many other artists have when they push themselves into their older years.. I mean.. this is the first time ive ever thought this... and its scaring me! ive always been so mesmerized by and in love with his charismatic, spontaneous and sexy stage persona.... ( i cant put this into words!!) but now Im worried! his recent show reviews on the other hand mostly say hes still still 'got it' on stage.. I would like to see him continue to grow older gracefully and transform as he goes (like he always has) not try to upkeep an image that gradually gets stale .. eek! what do you think? i am watching you prince

He's just performed a bunch of concerts...of course he's tired. They even mentioned that he was sick with a cold! I could hear it in his voice while listening to the live 02 broadcast. He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...

If I would have toured as much as him I would look a lot worse
I think he looks incredibly good for a nearly 50 year old who does not sleep and party/work most of the time. He is so inspiring! "Girly Man Man Man..... Kill her kill her kill her"

he just needs to sleep for 8 hours.. that'll refresh him..

For all those people who want him to come back and do a tour...
See, he needs his time out!!!!

Well he's made his millions and is probably somewhere resting up and counting your money so don't you worry about him, he can stay gone for years.

you had to be there - he was brilliant but then I have never seen him before and at the last aftershow i think you would take most of your remarks back - he played 3 hours and no-one was complaining "C'mon y'all - let me hear you sing, c'mon y'all, shake, c'mon y'all, jump" - Yes Prince -
"London do you feel for me what I feel for you"- yes Prince - "Can I play my guitar now?" - yes please

at least he hasnt thrown up or fell down drunk onstage like so many jazz and rock musicians. he can look healthy tired and still look great.

I wouldn't worry about this, George Clinton is damn nearly 70 years old and still tearing roofs off suckas. I believe it's in Prince for life.

And George doesn't even take care of himself. He's a well-know pothead, and he smokes crack pretty regularly, too. "I Was FINE Back in the Day!"

On the last night of the London gigs I saw him play a two hour set, have a break and then do a two and a half hour aftershow which finished at 3.45am. THEN he came out and did a half hour encore until 4.20am... Need I say more!?

Wow, nearly everyone I speak to about him cant believe he is actually 49 because he never seems to age.
If you saw him live at the 02 your wouldnt need to worry, he danced all night-well except for the piano section- I mean I dont quite know how he did it but my hat goes off to him. Plus he wasnt doing shoes everynight they were spaced out so hopefully he had time to recharge his batteries inbetween shows. I imagine he would be quite tired now that its all over hope he has a well earned break. Oh Princey if your free for a couple of hours...If you aint busy for the next 7 years...Lets Pretend were married, and go all night..

i miss the constant choreography with the band members. and perhaps his age is starting 2 show off more, u think he could have done 21 nights in a row?
we wore him out 5 years ago at the celebration of 7 nites in a row!! man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Of all the clips they could have shown from the tour, I thought that was a strange choice. It was rather obscure for potential non-fans who may stumble across it & he certainly seemed a little tuned out during parts of the show. But rest assured he has not lost it! I attended 12 dates of the tour (shows & aftershows) & he is on fire 99% of the time. I'm not worried at all!!!
