When I've been mixing Prince cds recently I often follow Mr. Goodnite with Incense & Candles. I like the way they work together.

i agree.it's about the only song i don't like off 3121(his best album this millineum ,by the way).i also am not crazy about "the dance" either(the earlier version of it was a little better).but neither really kill the flow of the album.if they had been together that would have did it for me.i never skip either though,they're not that bad,i guess.p's r&b stuff as of late(see also,"future baby mama" and "mr.goodnight")has been off.i think he's trying too hard to reach the "urban" market,he's not being himself.not expecting another "adore" or anything or even another "tmbgitw" but he's gotta have better stuff than this,i'm just sayin'.still like pe and 3121 anyways(it's friggin' new prince for god sakes!!!).
