Forget Purple...Prince's New Color:Orange Ok, I felt a need to start a topic tonight, as I am feeling lonely. I am grasping at straws , so please be kind:
Last 2 records have orange as the predominant color on the CD cover, and recently as Emancipation and maybe even the vault , the same holds true. Get ready for Orange Rain, Orange House, maybe a cover of REMs Orange Crush. Any thoughts out there? merf | |

I doubt it, he was being sponsored by a company called Orangehttp://www.orangeamps.com/, he used they're equipment so he was endorsing their name, Prince will truly always associated with Purple. But he has gone on the record as saying around the eighties that his new favorite color was "Banana yellow".

I've studied art and colour for years, and one day not too long ago I spent close to an hour trying to figure out why I couldn't make blue.
