AOL's 69 Sexiest Songs ever (Prince has 3) I'm not sure if you guys have seen this yet. According to it, he's 48, so it's probably a year old. I'll send you guys the link, but I'll add details about the three songs they picked. There are also some interesting photo galleries 2.
http://music.aol.com/feat...ngs-list-1 41. Darling Nikki In 1985, 'Darling Nikki' was the nastiest song most of suburban America had ever heard. And everyone thought it was hot -- everyone except Tipper Gore, who started a pro-censorship movement after she heard the song in her 12-year-old daughter's room. Sounds like Al should have given her a little more global warming. -- JP Sexiest lyric: "I knew a girl named Nikki, I guess u could say she was a sex fiend/ I met her in a hotel lobby masturbating with a magazine" 23. Nasty Girl (Vanity 6) The sonic equivalent of a long, brass pole, this song has worn out more exotic dancers than the National Basketball Association. It was also written by Prince. Raise your hand if you're surprised. -- JP Sexiest lyric: "Tonight, I'm living in a fantasy, my own little nasty world/ Tonight, don't U wanna come with me? Do u think I'm a Nasty Girl?" 4. Do Me Baby He's eccentric and only 5 feet tall, yet Prince remains the Ambassador of Sexy. Maybe it's those high-pitched wails or the talk break at the end, but something about this straight-shooting ballad is extremely seductive. Bow down, Justin. -- DB Sexiest lyric: "Take me baby/ Kiss me all over/ Play with my love" had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Once, they were on TV quoting the lyric above while my father and I happened to be watching television. My dad said, "Well, let's hope the magazine was Better Housekeeping." those were the only 3 songs that made that list. But I was expecting at least 2 of them. "Do me baby" caught me totally by surprise, especially that it made it so high on the list. Prince is never really #1 in anybody's polls but ours. I also checked out 77 most unforgettable movie songs... PR didn't make the list cuz they felt it'd be cheating (track has the same name as the movie)... it was #3 on the list of the "honorable mentions", Somewhere over the Rainbow & As Time goes By were #2 and #1, respectively. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Oh, please. Those aren't even his three sexiest. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Ok, what would your 3 be? Those 3, I think, are only known by those who know his hits or the ones that got the most attention. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

To me, his sexiest songs aren't necessarily about sex. They're about thinking about sex. Or they're just aurally overwhelming -- so intense, they make every hair on your body stand on end.
The "thinking about it" ones are songs like When We're Dancing Close and Slow or Dreamin' About U or Space (the acoustic version). The aurally overwhelming ones are stuff like Beautiful Strange, Joy in Repetition and When the Lights Go Down. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I don't find Adore sexy. It's romantic... We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
