I was dropping my kids off for school this morning, listening to "The Groove" 99.3 FM in Bakersfield (yeah, I know... Bakersfield) when all of a sudden I hear, "Don't worry, I won't hurt u. I only want u 2 have some fun..." (Yes, when you listen to Prince, you hear in Princebonics). Then, of course, the luscious synth breaks full-fledged into 1999!

I don't know. To me, when I hear Prince on the radio it sounds so much better! Not that it actually "sounds" better, just the fact that I know that radio is playin' my boy - and that at this moment, others are enjoying the music of Prince.

I just heard Kiss about an hour ago. Nothing better than getting down to Prince at work.

Heard 17 days on the radio yesterday. Our local dj plays a string of prince songs or prince related artists a few times a week during the lunch hour....

I sometimes listen to a local community radio station and one of the two female dj volunteers was getting all excited because they were going to play a Prince song. The other gal wasn't feeling it at all, didn't find Prince attractive etc, so I'm thinking "cool, maybe something off 3121 or PE."

Nope....it was "Kiss".

I hear "I Wanna Be Your Lover" frequently on Detroit radio, and just heard it this morning on 105.9, Detroit.

Specifically, Labor Day of this year around noon. That's the 2nd time I heard it on that particular station (that plays 80's, 90's and now).

My friend in L.A. told me she is constantly hearing Future Baby Momma and even Planet Earth on the urban radio station... she bought the cd as a result.

well on my way 2 work, i heard "Little Red Corvette" on the radio and on my way home, i heard 'LOVE BIZZARE" i have never heard love bizzare b4 on the radio.

I don't really listen 2 the radio all the much... cuz there's rarely anything good on anymore. That's why I stick with stations that play 80's and stuff that comes after.

one mystery song I don't know the name 2 (it was a long time ago b4 I knew much)

and I think there was one more, but I can't remember which one.

Why just yesterday I was STUNNED to hear them blast "The One U Wanna C" on KFOG 104.5 in the SF Bay Area.

I think I scared a few of my fellow commuters... hehe (Who was that guy in the big white delivery van singing Prince SO Loud?!?!)

Future Baby Mama is in heavy rotation on several radio stations, so I hear him on the radio everyday.....for now.....

So, I heard that song "1999" in the morning, when I dropped off my kids at school, then I heard "Purple Rain" on my way home from work! Wow - two Prince songs on the radio in one day!
