I don't like impersonators. I mean, I have nothing against people impersonating, but I can't appreciate 'the act of impersonating'... is that a little clear? Sorry, English is not my mother tongue.

This really is the funniest thread I have ever read on any forum!!

Vince does look a bit like prince but in the same way that I look like Steve McQueen - but good luck if there r people who want to pay and c u - at the end of the day some peeps must like waht u do and show their appreciaition by paying 2 c u so really what every1 else thinks is irrelevant?

Hey Purple don't take my comments too seriously, i just think you look like George Michael in that shot. No offence intended, and good luck to you , if you enjoy what you do and can earn a living out of it then great. I have seen an impersonator in the UK years ago and it freaked me out as to how much he looked, sounded and acted like our man and the gig he played was great.

Performing Prince music on stage is wicked fun ( i used 2 do it back n the day)... but dressing up like him (except for halloween or purim parties) or trying 2 impersonate is another story. Do they pay you alot of money to do stage performances in Las Vegas? $$

Can you do the splits, spins and turkish kick-spins ? Maann my legs can't do that shit anymore. Still it was alot of fun. Since Prince is a perfectionist.. he's a great mentor as one of the greatest stage performers.

I just think that if you can at least sing and dance on stage as good as he once could.. you should try to be more original and create your own style.

It really is a lot to master -- especially the talent/presence part of it. Essentially, this guy is "acting" the whole time. If he's freaking out people at the Missy Elliott shoot... who are any of us to say that he doesnt EXUDE Prince? Thats probablly the best way to say what he does. EXUDE.. lol

I personally don't care for impersonators, its not my thing. I get freaked out at shows by the ones who DRESS LIKE HIM! They scare me .. lol... and if they *don't* impersonate him for a living -- then that would REALLY scare me.

Otherwise. You can't knock a brotha for doing what he can and if he's making $$$ -- he's doing something right.

But the fact is you have a few things wrong on your site. 1st of all he is not the only one of the siblings who has musical talent. Yes he is the best out of them but I do know that in the least his sister has put out an album (and some people said it was OK).She isn't the only one but she is the only example I can give right now. 2ndly you will find alot of people (including Prince himself probably) who will disagree with you about the racial mix issue. I don't know how many people saw the video last night but I really didn't see too much of a resemblance.

I sat for awhile thinking who this guy reminds me of. Finally, it hit me. This guy looks like Luis Guzman from "Boogie Nights."

He dresses like Prince, he goes on stage and pretends he's Prince - that should be enough for your typical moron in the audience. No-one is seriously suggesting that any Prince fan would be fooled

I went to Vegas last month and went to the Legends in Concert show (as we were staying in the Imperial Palace). Was disappointed though to discover that 'Prince' wasn't on that night. Was a fun show though.

But the previous night, at 2am, I'd been on the phone to ticketmaster in the UK to book my tickets for ONA, so it wasn't a completely non-Prince experience.

I've heard excellent reports about your set though. Tell me something, are Purple Reign (just along the strip) any good?
