Lawd..that song is like

Its droopy, sappy..distorted and I just CANNOT get in2 that song 4 the life of me. Yet people rip on Wedding Feast (which is an interlude) but this dry and dreary cross between a slow jam and a rock-opera is out of the water for me. Love ya Prince but I need 2 understand why are there alot of fans of this one?

Great track! - one of the better ones from that post-Rave pre-Rainbow Children era.

I love the breakdown: "Nobody knows, like I know..." etc. It's quirky, funny, imaginative, somewhat dark... the kind of thing only Prince can get away with. Then he tops it off with a killer guitar solo. Santana would be proud!
