The winner of Album Survivor will be Sign O The Times. Why? Because Parade and 1999 will burn each other out (people are divided on it). And to say Purple Rain is #1 is a not gonna happen for 2 reasons-
1. As hardcore fans it is too obvious to like Purple Rain #1 2. Sign O the time is longer and more diverse. "New Power slide...." |

We all knew going in that SOTT was going to win. I was just curious to see the order of 2-5. I was way off. I thought it would go:

Still goes to show, the core of the 80s remained the longest in the list. At one point I almost looked like the 82 to 88 period was going to remain as a whole.
That truly was the point of greatness. When a man in his 20s only wanted to prove things to himself, and said fuck everyone else. He says it now, but doesn't mean it as much.. . |
