Prince's Sign 'O' The Times vs. Grandmaster Flash's Sign Of The Times I pretty much know what most of you are going to say but just for laughs state your opinion anyway. As for me, Prince by a landslide. Peace and be wild!

I don't know about Grandmaster's SOTT. Are you talking about a cover or a song or album with the same title?

I prefer Prince´s version , of course but if memory serves me right, I think GMF first came up with the title....
Sign of the times....can really blow your mind...( or something like that) ..... I still have that album on cassette somewhere, I think it came out in 1986. They did quite a lot of singing back then, them and UTFO sang a lot on their albums.....maybe that´s why Prince dogged rappers who try to sing on "Dead On It". But their singing wasn´t really that bad. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I don't care for either one of them. Andy is a four letter word.

Tomorrow we will have to add Chaka's version to the contest.

Hey somebody remembers!LOL When Prince came with SOTT I was like thats GMFs cut lol,I think its a tie they both have strong points. Prince waited until their song got old then put his out but it was GMFs idea first. For those in the know remember when Prince sported the big black hat in the video Mountains and on the Parade album the was straight from the rapper Jahel in Whodini that was his hat!and as for the Thieves In The Temple single listen to the whole self titled 1988 album The Real Roxanne "dont try to play the perpetrator in my Temple" Temple was Reals` she used it all through her album. These are neat ideas that Prince thought he could rock better. Now if you`ll excuse me Im going to play SOTT by GMF from the 1985 album They Said It Couldn`t Be Done.
