Emancipation..alternate version(s)... ...and while I´m at it , here´s another question I asked
before but never got any answers...apart from a circulating different version with the same lyrics but slightly different beat ( I listend to it with headphones at a record fare three years ago ) there were some different lyrics printed somewhere, around the time of that Esquire special edition interview in 95...back then, Emancipation was planned as a 52-track album...the lyrics contained lines about Adolf Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte...it could also be that I read them in a Dutch defunct fanzine called The Continental...does anybody know ?? " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Or it could be that someone is yanking your chain in those totally unreliable foreign publications

No, as far as I remember the lyrics were printed in
either Esquire (US-version) OR The continental or both. a friend of mine has got both magazines at home, I´m gonna ask him tomorrow. The fact that one of those sources is a foreign magazine has got nothing to do with its credibility or lack thereof, he has a very strong and loyal fanbase in Holland and I don´t see why they should be bullshittin´. This was passed out at a Paisley park party in '95.The music wasn't heard but the lyrics wereentirly diffrent.References to the "emancipation proclamation is well within our reach".The whole lyrics are printed in one of the UPTOWN magz from around tht time.Hope this helps.
