We only do that on stuff our members scan themselves. If you scan the rare pics from your archive I don't mind if you put a little logo on it. I just want to see the rare stuff. But the fact is that hardly anyone scans their pics, it is mainly the HQ members who come up with scans from their archive (And Bananacologne used to do it here on the org.)

A long time ago I set up a scan challenge here on the org with Bananacologne. We had a prize for the person with the most interesting scan and if a lot of stuff would be posted HQ members would no longer put the little logo on their scans. The amount of scans that were posted was overwhelming: not even one scan.

We don't have copyrights to (most of) the pics (but we mention the photographer/ source if we know it), we just want to show where you can find the rarer scans smile

Ive been saying that for months.. that and the videos.. they dont own them.. why is their logo on them? BET, Universal, PP, 3121.com, and whoever made pix n videos made no deal with that website.. and they even had a warning label to the members about the videos (cause there were ppl taking the videos from that site and selling them lol).. like.. wthell were they gonna do if members took pix n videos? absolutely nothing .. they had no rights to the videos.. or pictures.. and you do NOT have to give any credit to that site .. if u post pictures.. cause they are not the author..
