I need to revisit this CD. I just remember that when I first heard it - I hated it! Even listened to it several times later - Still hated it! Bet I might find some value in it today though. One thing for sure, it was produced well.  | |

I love this album. I know about 90% of Prince fans hate it, but it rocks hard!
I know I might loose cool points for saying this, but one of my favorite songs on the album is "Right The Wrong". You also gotta love the title track and "I Like It There". | |

Remove I Rock, Therefore I Am and replace it with the 90's recording of Empty Room and you have a really great album.
I still love it, though. I like its angry, raw, rocking feel. I know fans hate Right the Wrong, but I think it's pretty damn fun. I Like It There is incredible; how often do you hear that much energy in the studio from him anymore? Zannalee is a great little bluesy track, The Same December is full of life, Into the Light/I Will is absolutely beautiful, and Had U is a perfect haunting little closer. "Disappoint you....Fuck you....Had you..." Brilliant. [Edited 9/13/07 17:04pm] The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
