You misunderstood me here... I really don't like the albums Prince released in the 90's. I meant that maybe one day you'll agree with me about that ... You might be right. I mean, I've been high on 1999 & PR all week. Then I got "7" in my head and started playing the album... compared to the other two, it just pales in comparison SO MUCH. It's ridiculous. On its own, I thought it was a really good album too. D&P, is ok... but I don't really see it becoming anything. Come & TGE are my 2 other fav albums (aside from 1999 & PR). I've yet to compare to the four together, so I don't know which album is really my favorite.
But mixing the 80's with the 90's (at least with TGE & PR), it's like oil & water. Kinda drove me crazy the first (and last) time I did that. But I'll let u know further down the road what I really think of the 90's once I complete that sect of my collection (need Emancipation and to listen 2 2 other albums I own from that era) had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong.
