I like posting and viewing pictures 2, but when u lay claim 2 things like that, and use them as a means of self promotion, advertising in effect, it's quite a different matter. Arrogant 2 say the least. Going beyond that, and selling them, as it's been suggested, it becomes criminal.

Housequake do not use the watermark for self promotion, it's used to protect the source scan. A great example of this is where a HQ watermarked photo, which was hosted WITH the permission on the copyright holder / photographer was used in the latest Tour Book WITHOUT permission. i.e. it was used for commercial gain without contacting the owner.

Oh my goodness! "libellous"?! Prince's lawyers are rubbing off on them!, pretty soon they're gonna turn into the main thing they CLAIM they hate about Prince

Everybody wants to sell whats already been sold...

One more thing: People on HQ never complain about the little logo and the pics are scanned for them. So if you don't like to see the logo don't visit HQ's photo forum.

I have seen some beautiful never before seen pictures of P from Housequake and the org. This was brought up at Housequake once. It was told that some of these people have taken time 2 scan photos at a high resolution from there Prince archive so we can have the best of photos 2 droll over and I absolutely appreciate it. How many of u have gone into your archives and shared your photos with us? I know I haven’t because I don't know how 2 paste photos on the net yet. I have my niece here now 2 show me how but anyway it doesn’t bother me. All u have 2 do is crop it off if it bothers u that much or do what others have suggest, scan your own without the Housequake name.
