Honestly, I was basically a drifting soul in the music world. I had Jesse and a few other artists, but none of them really kept me grounded the same way. I wouldn't know what true music was all about and I wouldn't think outside the box the way I do now. I think I did need someone like Prince to come along, someone everyone has at least heard of (few know who Jesse is) to really tie me down (well, not like I'm a "drifting soul" anymore tied-down).

He makes me kind of believe in "divine intervention". I kept tripping over him by accident, but when he came to the biggest game of my favorite sport, I knew I at least had to find out more. And I found out more about him and myself.

I wouldn't be the person I am now without him and I like the way I am these days.
