I have been a Prince fan 4 a long time but haven't got an answer to the following and was wondering if ne1 else did.
I noticed that he is wearing a ring on his wedding finger during the ONA tour. Has he always worn a ring there or is this a nu thang? Also, all this stuff about him being married to sum1 else, didn't he divorce Mighty Mayte because he doesn't believe in 'CONTRACTS'?

Is this type of behavior really acceptable while Prince was married to another woman, or does being a JW make that ok?

I'm happy for him- he seems happy.

Prince was too proud to admit his first marriage hit the rocks, so he whipped up all the "contract" stories.

Now that he's married again, seemingly complete with a wedding band, I think part of the reason he's being hush about it is because inevitably someone, be it a fan or reporter, is going to clock him on being a hypocrite.

i heard that too MZFLASH. back when i first started going to paisley park in 1998 prince was still married to mayte. so i thought it was odd when i noticed this tiny, little doll of a gal (mani) hanging around prince, until i found out she was prince's 'personal assistant'.

well, not long after that, mayte left prince fled to spain, (in tears, as reported by insiders) and then prince used the whole "CONtract' fiction to weasel out of his marriage to mayte.

there were tons of rumors floating around that mani was responsible for breaking up prince's marriage to mayte, but i never believed them because, gosh, that would be so incredibly freaking TACKY of prince to do that to mayte that i simply . . . couldn't beleive it about him.

but then, last winter, he married mani.

now the question is, who's the more disgusting? prince for treating mayte like crap and cheating on her with a newer, younger, tinier gal he 'hired' to be his 'personal assistant' or mani, for moving in on prince when she knew he was married, and deliberately becoming a factor in the breakup of that marriage?

if you ask me, both of them displayed some incredibly UNgodly qualities in this mess. not even worshipping Jehovah will save them from the nasty karma their union has engendered.

and, i feel sorry for mayte. she was a warm, generous and friendly presence at the park. things have changed a LOT since then
