I was inspired to “do something” at the next opportunity after hearing the churched-up version of Satisfied at a few of the 3121 shows in Las Vegas. Prince’s pimped-out preacher persona is always one of the highlights of his performances to me.

So, after snagging my 7/7/7 Target Center ticket, I sprang into action a few weeks before the show, came up with a concept, and found a printer. After some e-mail back and forth, we had a deal.

Essentally, I created a church-style fan, with some text inspired by the occasion. [There's a picture in one of the long 7/7/7 concert review threads.] I assumed that Satisfied would be on the Target Center setlist. My objective was to add to the atmosphere when the song was performed.

In keeping with the 07/07/07 theme, the plan was to get enough fans into the Target Center to blanket the first 7 rows. Geting them through security and into the arena was a breeze. With the assistance of friends, we covered the first seven rows. Needless to say, our distribution scheme caught the attention of Target Center security and someone from Prince’s organization. They took one backstage. Uh-oh.

Eventually, the lights go out and the show starts. I have no idea what's going to happen.
