With all the requests going on, all the control issues, and the way he seems to view his fans and fansites that refuse to become official sites, I just have one question.

Is Prince a terrible, untrustworthy human being - or - is there a level of miscommunication somewhere? What's your opinion? Seriously, lets have one thread with an open discussion about it.

No, I believe that prince has certain standards that we can't understand sometimes, he wants to remain in control of his privacy and only asks that those wishes be respected. The world is full of "Terrible" people you read about them everyday and hear about them on the news but trust me Prince is not one of them. I know that they're Bithchin and Moanin over there at HQ, because somebody got caught posting his o2 pictures all over the internet but he asked a while ago that no one take pictures, I can't believe the attitudes.

Prince seems like a peaceful and yes (i'm actually flirting with danger and saying it) compassionate person. He's restrictive, but he can't even begin to come close to things near terrible.

I do think some of the rules he and his people have are over the top, but it is working, a lot of his pictures and videos are no longer available anywhere on the internet.Again I say I don't think Prince is a terrible Human being.

I don't think P is a terrible human being but as more things come to light, like the latest round with HQ, I find it harder to like him as a person. In my old age, though, I am getting better at separating the man from the music, which is all we should care about in the first palce.

I dig this thread. I was actually going to start one just like it.

Everybody should be able to tell by the beautiful music he creates that Prince is a lovely human being!

And that's that

Name another artist who so habitually sues his fans and strong-arms sites that celebrate his/her music.

I'm not saying he's terrible. But I think his sense of entitlement is woefully out of control.

In return he ask's not to use his image as promotion/logo's of their sites. Really.. he isn't asking that much.

What are you talking about? Just about every picture and video and concert you could ever want of Prince is on the internet somewhere, just not on his fan sites or sites like Youtube. I just looked at over 400 pictures from the o2 concerts and listened to a full recording of a live show.

ive just been reading some threads how he wants to limit fans dicussions about him on fan sites, and the bullshit ive just read is nonesense heres my take on the housequake situation...

Princes team ask Requests housequake to remove concert pics.

Housequake says sure if we can have something in return for example return of the video forum or maybe some official o2 pictures.

princes team says no.

housequake then refuses to move or stop hosting the pictures on the site

princes team then says ok then remove princes image from your banners/wallpapers

then princes team decides to appeal straight to housequake members by posting a thread asking fans to respect princes wishes.

housequake dont like that, now in their sign up terms you cant register if you work or affiliated with prince/npgmc/3121 or anyone associated with prince.

My opinion is and it wont change, housequake wants to be the official prince site, i mean some people say hes a control freak and wants to control housequake and other fan sites. where will the line be drawn with housequake...

first: video forum

second: official concert photo's

third: downloading of his music

like i said in another thread, have the people forgotten over their that he has gave them things like pics of the musicology tour and a disc to offer in a competition for its members, but when they dont get what they want they throw a wobbler like school kids miss miss prince is bullying me.

Their a disgrace call themselves fans, with housequake its all about them in a bubble and you only become part of that community if you kiss ass and agree with them.
