Advice for making a CD for an Eric Clapton fan

I promised a friend on mine from work that I'd make her a Prince cd.She likes all sorts of music but to narrow it down,I wanna focus on songs that a big Clapton fan like herself would most likely enjoy the most.I know Layla is her all time favorite song.Any purple suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

BTW,I was thinking maybe The Question of U and The Ride for starters.

Purple Rain is a must since Clapton has said in the past its one of his favorite songs.

other cool Prince songs for a Clapton fan (like myself) imo:

Computer Blue (long version if you can find it)
Paisley Park (esp the 12")
SOTT (the song)
The Cross
The Question of U
Joy in Repetition
In This Bed I Scream
Gold
Free
Chaos & Disorder
Same December
Guitar
The One U Wanna C
The Ride
Musicology
A Million Days
Calhoun Square
My Guitar Gently Weeps from the RRHOF (again, if you can find it)
Fury (from SNL)
Reflection

dont put guitar freakfests on there. Clapton is a fine guitar player and he doesn't freak out like Prince does so I never expect fans of someone like Clapton to enjoy a guitar freak out. they always end up comparing the two.

I always find the way to get over ppl like that is to put more of the moderate Prince tracks on your cd. put some guitar tracks on there but not like In This Bed I Scream.

A Million Days and the like is cool.

Cream are one of the originators of guitar "freakfests".

There's a specific track on the boot "Stars & Bars" that is appropriate. Mostly because Prince keeps mentioning Eric throughout. It's hilarious... and disturbing... lol

It's track 11, "In The Mood."

With someone who is a fan of classic rock, it's probably a good idea to stay away from anything that sounds too "disco."
