Prince is popular over the world. His popularity in The US has slightned ever since Loesexy. IN which US states is he most populat.

I know here in Texas(Houston) he soldout 2 dates on The Musicology Tour.

I have a feeling he's popular in California but I don't know about New York. Like The Jacksons, they played 5 nights in LA on The Victory our but only 3 or 4 in New York is you count Madison Cqaure Garden.

Taxes, New shirt, lot's-a-laundry, and Miss-hippie.

Why?
1. 'Sip radio stations just dont play his music ALOT (mean every hour) like they do in LA.
2. No Prince support groups in Miss. and most folx in Miss. who liked him back in day stopped liking him after Lovesexy album.

But I didnt!! I fought many battles defending his music in Miss. Thank God Im in LA now...everybody here loves him!!!

We love him here in Philadelphia, he was here with Tamar as soon as 3121 came out, they appeared in a little theater called the Electric factory, and he extended his Musicology conert for 3 days. Can't wait till he gets back!

Caliornia definatly! Sold out several consecutive nights in the Bay Area and people still wanted to see more.

I missed out on Musicology both times because it was sold out. But at least i got to catch the second show at the Tabernacle during the "Tamar Featuring Prince" thing for 3121 in 2006. It was sold out in seconds too.

Prince is popular in Dallas, TX. Go Cowboys!!

He's definitely most popular in New York.

I would say California, especially the SF Bay area....I mean he actually added a second show in Oakland during the Lovesexy tour....the only place in the US that he ADDED a show.

He did six conscutive sold out shows in SF during the Purple Rain Tour and could have done a few more sold out shows but had to move on and he sold out a total of five or six shows during the Musicology tour also.

Yeah DOwn South people have forgotten all kinds of music or never even heard of him. Although we're not that southern the people in Texas have somewhat forgtten Prince and Michael.. Well Michael has sortof lost a stronghold in the black community. But I had apicture from this forum on my computer. This girl walked up and said" What is that, isit a woman?". I responded no, it's Prince. She was like he looks just like a woman, he must be gay. I looked at her crazy and was like"Naah that's Prince.". SHe was saying nobody remembers what he looks like.
