How come nobody ever talks about the Prince track called" MAD" The song "MAD" is a jam! What is the history behind this song? How come it was never officially released on a CD? All I know it was released from the music club only. | |

It makes me think of the TV show. Even though it's not the theme, it seems like it should be, for some reason. Aside from that, it's, in my opinion, one of his more mediocre songs. Sorry. That's why I don't talk about it much. | |

I love this track, has amazing energy. I was just talking about it--in the songs no one else likes tracks!

Mad is funky as hell tho i tend 2 like the NPG's version more since it makes more sense for sonny 2 say "is that HIS guitar?" as opposed 2 prince saying is that MY guitar...
but i love the 1st verse just like a movie i've seen u a dozen times i'm hip 2 every single trick i know every single line called u at the beauty shop they say u been there and gone must b a hand missing on ur clock cause the time u sure keep is wrong man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

Love, love love "Mad"...I just get so steamed how before it was released was ALWAYS coupled with "Funky Design"...then.... even Prince released the two back to back...but.....whatever... I just hate the 2 songs being coupled with each other..they are both genius tracks tho. | |
