I never really paid attention 2 that line... I just felt the music and it has signaled diff. things in my mind. Heh, I thought the song was "Darling Nikki" when I heard it the first time... I was kinda bracing 4 it cuz it was reputable 4 being nasty, heh.

With Darling Nikki, Prince surely got himself into hot water and opened a can of worms at the same time. After Al Gore's wife was done with him, Prince was now the official trail-blazer for the now so frequently used parental advisory sticker. But that didn't stop Prince to use explicit lyrics in his songs. Even though he later cleaned up his act, it still comes back to haunt him to this day. Many people (myself included) sometimes miss the old, dirty Prince.
I think you could say, he created a monster.( a sexy one at that! )
