Rumours have been circulating in London for ages about both Paul McCartney and Prince taking part in this year's Electric Proms in Camden. Would have said 'unlikely' to both but Paul McCartney was just caught in his car by the BBC and confirmed he's doing it to get rid of them.

A Prince yes would just be the cherry here. They both played Camden a while back, so here's hoping...

What is that?

The Electric Proms is really just a series of gigs based around the Legendary (now refur'ed) Roundhouse in Camden where the likes of Pink Floyd played some their earliest gigs in the sixties. 'The Proms' is an annual popular-classical event in London and a few years ago someone came up with the idea of extending this into 'The Electric Proms'. More of a marketing exercise with the name. It's just a set of gigs in and around Camden but usually quite big names and usually some cross-guesting of artists and that.

I've got a feeling that it was probably Paul McCartney OR Prince to top it out this year but who knows?
