For those that don't know, in the interview with Oprah, Prince said the part he connected the most with in Purple Rain was the scene with his ma when they are crying and he touched her knee.

I gotta go with the opening sequence of Let's Go Crazy. The excitement at the club is great. Boogie Nights had a similar exciting opening, and it really sucks you into the movie and the characters. I watched the Purple Rain DVD this weekend and I definitely don't like the film as much as I used to, but overall it has held up pretty well. Especially Morris's parts. Still cracks me up.
