Which ARTISTS Would U Choose 2 Collaborate With PRINCE?

PRINCE is my favorite artist of ALL TIME.

There are so many talented and incredible artits out that I sometimes can't help but wonder what it would be like to hear them colaborate with PRINCE.

Who would you choose to make that stellar song with Prince?

If I had to pick a few artists it would be the following...

PRINCE and GEORGE MICHAEL - Two very talented and soulful song writters. They both have intense passion and skill. I can only imagine the "gem" they could create.

PRINCE and MARIAH CAREY - Two Beautiful Voices, ONE hell of a SONG!

PRINCE and TORI AMOS - MAN! I think there could be something very differnt, very special from them together...especially on piano!

PRINCE and STEVIE WONDER - Enough said.

I would be interested in hearing a collaboration between Prince & Mike Patton. They both experiment with different sounds so the outcome would have to be golden.

Can you imagine a real funky track with Louis Johnson playing bass on it? That would be hella cool. Too bad that'll never happen and the track would've been better had it been released in the early eighties... nowadays it might just end up sucking, like most of Prince's contemporary 'funk'.

Oh yeah. I know Prince and another funkateer could absolutely turn it out. However, once he opens the doors collaborating with other artists, then they'll be wanting him to get together with folks like P Shitty, R Kelly, or Kanye West and get a more "current" sound. Just look what happened to Ronald Isley. He got a little taste of that money and let R Kelly absolutely ruin him.

Prince worked with contemporary artists on "Rave". Thank God it didn't sell well. If it had, we might be waiting for the new album featuring Prince and Will I Am or Eminem. lol

A good choice.

Another one: Reanimate Frank Zappa and get him to collaborate with Prince. THAT would be something.

Otherwise: too many cooks ruin the dinner.Think about "Why should I love you" by P and Kate Bush. Would have been a better song, if one of them did it alone. Still great though...

Or think about "We can funk". Original: a masterpiece. Collaboration with George Clinton: a weak filler track.

Beck... would love for Prince to suck his brains out... This is the type of artistry that Prince needs to be around to spark his creativity once again...

I truly believe Prince could learn some things from Beck... Those that know Beck will agree... those that aren't too familiar with Beck are missing out like those that aren't familiar with Prince.

eek I love this song !

I'd like P to play with Ben Harper... with their whole band altogether !

Or just the 2 guys with old acoustic guitars...

A collaboration with electro/jazz piano player Laurent de Wilde might be surprising.

Tori Amos, Bootsy C, Beck, Peter Gabriel... already said. Avril Lavigne => I guess it's a joke ???

I wish it was a real collaboration during weeks or months of hard searching, sharing and working...

I would love to hear whatever would have come out of a collaboration of Aphex Twin and Prince. They are both musical masterminds, though in their own way. I don't think it will ever happen, but it could be crazey!!
