Saw and read some magazines and books about the Greatest Albums and Greatest Artists of all time, and Prince is not in the top ten, even top twenty! To me, Prince is very far behind some of those artist or albums that I think should not be there. Period!

To me He is the greates, and my all time favourite.
That's all that I care about.

Lists, underration by others, chart positions, blabla and stuff - should I care?
I know what he brought onto this world and into my life - that's why I'm grateful.
And I won't waste my energy and time for moaning about other's opinions... Period.

Somehow that dosent surprise me as far as him being in the top ten list
He is definantly one of the most innovative artists of all time and much like most great artists( Both musically and in the art world) will probably not be recognised until he is no longer with us which I find quite sad but nor surprising.
For me his is up there with the Greatest!!!!
He is the quitessential modern day Motzart, but the music industry heads are too busy with their heads up their bums to notice
Thats okay, at least his fans know who he is

I think the key is Prince does not sell magazines like some of the other icons.

Talentwise he is definately deserving.

These lists are only made up of other peoples opinions, don't let anyone tell you who should be great on YOUR list. Prince is rarely high on any list with caucasian rock artist included I've noticed.

Prince is definitly number 1 on my list.
