the pr version is great,very ballad-y which works for dramatic effect.but i personally like the extended/alternate versions better.they're very funky.the intro is one of my favorite parts of any prince song.the different percussions and stuff,everyone shouting the title,brilliant.i remember renting the pr dvd and seeing the iwd4u video with baby i'm a star right after it.both going on for almost 20 minutes.the coolest stuff ever.then i heard the 30 minute un-released version.it goes on and on and its amazing.the 10 minute released version is good too(basically the first 10 minutes of the 30 minute one)plus they freshen it up a little bit.the groove is completely different from the pr version and better i think.anyone else like these as much as me.

these are all good. i do like the alt.cut of the album version.its just got an extended break if i recall but basically the same song.

This was stylish but Baryshnikov and Minelli are a hair better.

Another slice of Heaven is the flipside, the extended version of "Another Lonely Christmas", beautiful picture discs too. Don't see that indulgence on the packaging of Planet Earth.
