Serious Question: If Prince came to U willing to do "the work"

If Prince knocked on U're door willing to do "the work" would U accept or refuse to hear what he has to say? Rainbow Children know how to answer this I assume...

How could U think that I could put something inside of someone that I put inside U? Even if I tried 2.. I couldn’t cuz I still smell like the last time that we ... Loving U is a waste of time

I think this would require heavy litsening to his religous doctrine. U probably already had Rainbow Children visit U're home b4 and refused to litsen
to what they had to say.

I usually listen twice as much as I speak, and would most definitely make time 4 Prince. I'm not sure if listening is all this work involves tho.
Any1 knocking on my door gets my full attention. Especially if theyre uninvited. wink

Imagine how many Rainbow Children converts came to know the doctrine through his music.

I would certainly listen. I'd tell him about the work I'm already doing. And the difficulty in getting people to "get on the boat." Perhaps we'd have something in common. queen

Absolutely!

I'd wanna hear w/e he has to say about w/e...

although its kinda hard to take the question seriously, cuz "The Ladder" scene from UTCM comes to mind giggle

even if that were the case, I think I'd still say yes

That's interesting because a hidden ladder in a theme park might be a fun

So, you guys would let him in, listen to what he has to say and then...let him leave?? Nope. Not me. I mean, I would get all caught up in listening to him and looking at his eyes and all that. How could I just let him sermonize and then leave!!! I could not. It's Prince!!! A girl has her fantasies to consider, after all wink .

Well, first I'd get him to clean down behind the sofa....that m*therfucker hasn't had clear out in years, and it'll save me getting my hands dirty.

I'd be willing to listen, but probably not accept completely. I struggle with anything that tells me how to think rather than encouraging me to think for myself.

If "the work" was "the word" and he was knocking on my door...I would slam the door on his face...how dare he try to push beliefs on someone!

No but really...
I would be more like a friend, invite him in,and talk to him and might listen a little but once I start to feel uncomfortable, I will escort him out... He's like everyone else to me and I would treat everybody the same.

i would let him in, invite him in2 the kitchen and we'll shoot the breeze. I would listen 2 what he would have 2 say and hopefully he will listen 2 mine. (i just hope he doesn't hear one of his concerts being played in the background tho).
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
