@Kida - No, no one should be deprived from Purple Rain. My parents are so paranoid. I mean it's not like I haven't heard/seen anything that they wouldn't want me to in PR.

I was not allowed to watch Purple Rain when it came out either because it was rated R and I was not 17. However I was a sneak and saw it anyway. LOL

The scence where Prince kicked Morris Day into the pile of trash in the alley and pick up Apollonia and are riding down the street there was a Black man with long dregs sitting on the corner smoking when they drove by I put that on everything I loved I never saw him when I watch this in all the formats this movie came in.Watching this in Blu-ray I loved this movie even more if you can believe that.

Too Funny! As my 10 & 11 yr. Niece & Nephew said they snuck & watched it while their parents slept!They wanna see it on the Big screen! I said I'd have a hard time sneakin them off to Detorit to see it at the Park-when they do it! so! It's TV for now!

Well, I'm 17 and they're still apprehensive about it. I think they worry too much.

hmm well i have the dvd, i can watch it anytime i get ready...without commercials and scenes cut in the middle.
