sure, I noticed the somewhat "inapproriate" lyrics... but I don't really care too much about that.

It's one of the most beautiful songs on the album... love all of the music and the different touches he added.

And 2b even more "inapproriate"... it kinda makes the idea of me falling in & out of love with a guy edging 50 a little less messed up sounding... but whatever... a girl can dream, right?

But the lyrics may not denote the underage issue at all. They may just be referring to the fact that the 18 year old Mayte and the 30-something year old Prince were so far apart in age. In this regards, he has a valid point in asking "Why is age more than a number, when it comes to love?". And she doesn't have to be under 18 to be every school boys fantasy. I wanted to fuck the shit out of Blondie when I was 12.
