Yes. Come is underrated. I think it's one of his better albums of the 90's. I love "Space", my favorite song on the album.

loose dark race and space are some of the greatest prince songs from the 90s

I didn't care for it when it first came out. I was a new fan then and was like...ohh..this is...different but now? this album is def in my top 10! love it!

It took me a little while to get into it. I mean, I thought it was ok. Didn't see anything extraordinary about it... but it wasnt overally terrible.

Then when it hit me, I've liked it ever since.
It's subtle in its greatness... but all the same, it gives TGE a run for its money as my #1 album. In fact, I think it is my #1 album right now ( is 2nd and 1999 is 3rd)...
Space is such a trip, love it.
Loose is the first attempt I heard of Prince doing Techno... brilliant

But Letitgo has always been my favorite track cuz it just sums everything up. Oddly, Come was an album of supposedly old material (TGE having the new material)... but Letitgo was a brand new song he added to the album... and it fits. The NPG does a brilliant job with all the instruments (unless of course Prince is being the musical genius he is and he's doing all of them himself).

Oddly, one time I went to Come, it actually cheered me up like u wouldn't believe. This was shortly after it depressed me cuz I saw it as "the death of Prince"... truly.
Then I heard it again after that... and it was subtly happy.

Come almost always is a good experience 4 me. Although the last time, it didn't go so well. I was kinda bent out of shape over something. Then I played the first half of the album, which I refer 2 as "Purple Fantasy" opposed 2 "Reality in Darkness"... and stopped with that. Cuz I was down and wanted Prince to drag me down with him, but I felt that it wasn't my job to follow his example at that time.

It's always an interesting experience with the album, but I trust him a great deal more here than on TGE... and I find trust 2b a very important factor

But lately and Come have become my 2 favorites... D&P is kinda weak, but it does have a spark... kinda like the ATWIAD of the 90's

the one I picked up is off the beaten path... not one I was really considering, its filler more or less... but when im sure of how i feel about it, ill reveal its identity

Horrificly bookended by two utter misfiring tracks (can't say 'songs')... but other than... fabulous work. Space is an incredible track in particular.
