Prince interviewed by Larry King in December 1999 - Great Interview

Prince, at the time known as the artist, is interviewed by Larry King. First time I have seen this and I have never seen Prince open up so much.

Yeah,
I heard that the presence of his huge-ass moustache can easily fill one with a sense of comfortability.

The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Larry King asks Prince the stupid question.... Does he care about Michael Jordan's relationships (along those lines) .... don't have the exact text right now.
Larry.. if you are reading this shrug Why would Prince care? He is not gay!

Yeah, Prince was in fine form in terms of being somewhat sociable, but Larry King's questioning was annoying. It was clear he knew nothing about Prince or his music at all. The Tavis Smiley interview from 2004 is probably my favorite because Tavis was obviously a huge fan, and Prince seemed quite relaxed with him. A rare combination lol

Prince got in a jam when Larry asked about contracts ...

Larry: So you don't believe in contracts?
Prince: Oh NO... never...that is why I changed my name and the divorce-blah blah
Larry: How do you do business? Do you have contract with Demand?
Prince: hmmmmm I'm not sure but I can check for you

confused

Fool you know if you signed a contract or not. If you don't believe in contracts why do you make everyone sign a contract that comes in contact with you making sure they can't talk about anything or they will be sued.

* Demand was the PPV channel that gave P the budget and put on the Rave concert.

Many thanks for that. Does anyone know of a website on which stuff like this can be found. Due to the terms and conditions of prince.org it cannot be done on this website but does anyone know of another Prince website which points out stuff like this. Just to make sure that I am not giving the wrong impression I do mean stuff that is legal.

Words of advice...If you want to sign a contract...
All you have to do is see a notary public...for two dollars
you can have one witness...
