I was singing Pearls b4 Swine 2day and I actually hit that low note that comes up a few times in the verses.



I regret 2 say that I can't reach those very high notes that he can reach (i.e., end of TMBGITW b4 the fade) Well, I've tried and it gives me a .

I remember non Prince fans saying that they didnt believe it was Prince who did that talking part in TMBGITW (And if the stars...) Well, u better believe it, the boy has range.

What notes have u hit? Any1 4 that high note in "Dark"?

Prince is unnatural in his vocal range... you just shouldn't be able to do that... I don't care that it is falsetto when he goes really high... his falsetto is extraordinarly good.

The man is an amazing singer... I could not even dream of hitting the high notes that he does... it is just NOT going to happen.

I can hit Prince's high notes. Im au natural soprano. 6 octave range
I singing along w/ him & harmonizing 2 his every little whim. Now 4 my turn 2 get up there on stage with him & just kill it
P.S. Prince high notes are easy if you are a trained singer.
But his voice is beyond beautiful w/ the depth and range.

I can hit virtually all of the notes I've heard him hit, but I sure as hell don't sound as good doing it. The very lowest note on Solo gets me every time, and the very highest note in TMBGITW sounds reaaallly bad coming outta my mouth. But his range is pretty awesome, I don't feel bad about not being able to duplicate it well.

Can you think of any singers with falsettos as nice as his? I can't.

U2's Bono uses his falsetto quite often, but I don't really like it.

But Prince has a reach- amazing!
D'angelo copies him, but never reaches the same variety and emotionality Prince does.
Bilal has quite a range as well!

I could do some of that high shit back in high school! But I've lost it since then unfortunately. I can still hit high notes, and I've got that falsetto thang, but nothing like I used to.

Prince amazes me with his range. No other man can come close to him in that department. Except for maybe Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind, and Fire...

I can hit the high notes on Kiss toward the end of the song,
(esp. if I have a small shot beforehand, somehow it helps),
and I also like singing Do Me Baby, The Most Beautiful Girl
in the World, Adore and last few notes of Little Red Corvette (extended version) up to that scream. I don't know
how Prince does it, singing in falsetto for an entire song,
let alone a whole night, cuz after a couple of verses, my vocal
chords are hurtin!

no i dont sing like prince but i do like to sing along to certain songs esp in the shower...

Only 1 time did I ever hit a hign note that Prince can reach.
It was 3 a.m. in the winter and my husband 4got 2 put the toilet seat down.
Man that water in the toilet was ICE COLD!
He never 4got 2 put that toilet seat down after that.

I like bono's voice, but he has to WORK for his falsetto, Prince makes it seem easy.
