Freemywhat So here we are the chosen few who recognize that we are listnening to perhaps the greatest musician ever; and what gets chosen for discussion:
"The man better let us trade our crappy mp3's" "the 5th day of november we need a purple threesome" "imagine if Prince opened a chain of fastfood resteraunts" "Babycakes look so fine in this picture" I'll try again: Alexa de paris; or Ode to Joy I choose theese as I feel they are perhaps the two most moving pieces ever written. As for myself(and I probably wouldn't say this if Alexa de Paris was playing right now) Ode to Joy is probably the better piece, only because it is as moving whenever it is played; wheras alexa de Paris I think needs to be played only by Prince to be as powerfull. what are your thoughts? 2nd. I never heard Ode 2 Joy 3rd. Alexa De Paris is cool, but I'd like 2 hear a lil' bit of "Gamillah" or "Pearls b4 The Swine" Anyway probably the best instrumental was Fathers Song, and Computer Blue. I made a 30 minute mix of instrumental parts that were cool, like : Glam Slam Dance On Love Bizarre (I no every single line of the 12 minute version) Make Yo Mama Happy Crystal Ball Irrestistable Bitch A Million Miles stuff like that its cool yeah man i like this thread, glad 2 be the 1st 2 participate Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Some people have been on this board for years and discussed those songs a long long time ago.
Theres only so many times people can say "so how about that purple rain eh?..." lol. But I'm sure there are plenty of people visiting the org for the first time to carry on such a conversation with. | |
