You know, I'm too shy so I would never go up to Prince and just belt out my undying love 4 him! The reason why I say these things is bcuz of his character. I don't look at the person on stage I look at the person in interviews and the person off of the stage, bcuz we all know that is as close and personal I am going to get with him besides the music which is personal too. When I 1st started liking him it was just about the music, but as years went on it was more than that.In these interviews I see this really handsome nice guy that wants to be respected & excepted for who he is and what he does. Mix some humor in with it{ my ideal guy} ! Naw but I know prince has his tantrums and whatnot we all do that is part of our human instinct. I would love to meet him and see what the man is like off of camera, and have a real conversation without all of the cameras probably influencing him not to be himself. He probably would turn out even better than I imagine him, but if not oh well life goes on. I'll be devistated but..... Wait! Did I make a point, or am I just rambling on?

But then I found one interview from 2003 in Australia. In one part, he was with his band, but then they got him on his own (just him, the camera and his interviewer).

He's a completely different person on his own. He seems shy, humble and maybe a little insecure. But it amazed me because I believed every word that came out of his mouth. He said that he hears music all the time and his ears perk up when he hears it. I love seeing interviews cuz I get to hear him speak, but also his true nature shines through. If it were up to him, he'd rather perform than speak because music speaks volumes for him. It may be a shield for him to hide behind or it just speaks a lot louder than he could on his own.

If I met him, I'd certainly ask him about the music. Maybe about how/why he write my "soul tattoo" and mention how much it has meant to me and how its so special. Then another zillion questions would come to mind. I get the feeling that I'd be a nervous wreck at first, but I'll chill in a minutes because of his "calming aura". I'd probably also commend him for his apperance at his age and ask how he does it. Of course he'd say what he did in another interview "the Bible has dietary restrictions that you can look up and you'll find that it helps your body & soul come into alignment a lot better"

Above all things, though, I prefer to revere him for his talents and give him the respect he deserves rather than going on and on about my "undying love" for him, which of course he'd see right through. His music alone does that a lot.

Interesting ... I wonder if we jjsut caught him in a moment? I didn't think he pumped like he use to ... interesting. He didn't do anything like that at the MPLS concert ... he did the motion standing up when during the drum solo...
