yep! hoped he would play it at the O2 show. the symbol guitar is horrific. the cloud beautiful.. wonder why it rarely gets an outing these days?

i dont think the cloud gutiar could be at all practical to play?
cause it has a big bit running up beside the neck, and i imagine that could be quite off putting?

Prince laid the cloud guitar to rest -- this was symbolized when he gave it a "burial" on stage during his ONA era concerts.

Was chatting with the guitar tech while he was setting up at one of the aftershows and he says they haven't brought it at all and that Prince rarely plays it that much anymore. Hardly picks up the Model C either.

the cloud guitar doesnt work with prince concept right now. no long hair or heavy rock sound anymore. in ONA show he put it to sleep.

Oh yeah, imiss the cloud guitar. I asked his guitar technician,why he doesn´t use this anymore. He said, Prince like to change his sound and loves the new guitar sound with his whammy bar. I had the chance to ask him at the Indigo in London.

But i miss the cloud.It sounds so good and looks so funky.
