Why hardly no Prince on youtube I dont hardly ever see Prince on there anymore. What gives? Is it because he's so protective over his music? | |

Yes. Remember this is a guy who sues his own fans websites for using copyrighted material I don't get it. If someone has paid for his greatest hits DVD, or they've actually paid for the material, whats wrong with people just watching it, its not like their selling it to put money in their own pockets. In a way, it would help him get his music out, cause people would like what they hear, and go out and buy his greatest hits! Thats the one thing about Prince that I dont understand... | |

Because apparently, he can use it to advertise himself (verizon and finesse standup) but no fan can be privileged to view his videos and learn about "real music by real musicians" - gee, Prince, maybe if I could SEE your videos on youtube where they're easily accessible I could learn more about real music but you remove your videos on here so I'll just go watch this Akon one now.

He's a control freak when it comes to his likeness, image and career. If he smacks himself with a mic or something he doesn't want it seen. Seems to have worked out for his career. But think he can lax on that as he is an older artist and exporsure from fans is one thing you think he would want. | |
