The Hall of Fame introduction on the big screen before his shows just seems beneath him.

Prince has a big ego. He admitted that himself. It's his concert, he can big himself up if he wants. Personally I find his comments hilarious.

Hell there are music legends who will openly state that his level of talent is something different and that even they are awe. hard not to drop a little line here and there after 30+ years of being amazing.
