I hear ya. He needs to practice what he preaches. I liked parts of "Musicology" but I understand fully what you are saying. He talks about how these new artists can't play the first instrument and have absolutely no musical talent. I agree with him 100% and have clapped my ass off when I heard him say things like that. Then he turns around and makes something shit hop sounding like "Incense and Candles" or "Mr. Goodnight" or even performs with people on stage who are part of the problem such as Beyonce. His actions are the exact opposite of what he's been saying.

He talks a lot of the same shit that I've been talking for years. However, I guarantee you won't see me giving in to their bullshit. They don't call me "vain" Andy for nothing. I've got pride dammitt and I'm a stubborn motherfucker.

Wow, shocking comments by Prince last night. Maybe he saw this thread and felt depressed and the need to be humbled. Someone give him a hug for me.
