Around the world in a day has aged very well! Today i was listening to this album again, after not listening to it for a long time.
IMO it has aged very well, even better then Purple Rain or 1999. Certain beats and synthlines on those two albums sound a bit dated nowadays. Alltough it only consists of 9 songs, the album appears a lot longer then Planet Earth (with its 10 songs) and more importantly offers so much more creativity and depth in the music. Next to that, the frequence off the album really 'works', not a bad apple in between, even the most quirky song,'Tambourine', does sound in place. I think it definitely belongs in the top 5 of greatest Prince albums. | |

It´s one of my favorite Prince albums and I think it is probably his most timeless album. It will always sound fresh and takes me on a trip everytime I listen to it.
