PRINCE and BOB MARLEY We,ve all heard some of prince's songs with some regea influences in them. Songs like "RIPOPGODDIZIPPA". But if prince decided to do a cover of a Bob Marley song, what Marley song do u think would suit prince to cover.

Prince and Bob met. Some one actually had the crazy idea of them working together. Bob was freaked out by Prince in g-string back in the day. but...that song that Rosie sang - "i wanna give you some love..." > that's a Marley song.

I would love to hear him performing "Concrete Jungle" or "Exodus"...

Y'all beat me to it but of course Kinky Reggae is the obvious choice.
Lively up Yourself could work as well as Could You be Loved.

Well Rosie Gaines used to sing a little bit of Lively Up Yourself during the Diamonds and Pearls tour, and this is mentioned in the liner notes in the Songs Of Freedom box set
I'd like to hear Prince do Natural Mystic maybe

Kinky Reggae and Redemption Song
Just look at the last verse of Redemption Song Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our mind. Wo! have no fear for atomic energy, cause none of them-a can-a stop-a the time. How long shall they kill our prophets, While we stand aside and look? Yes, some say its just a part of it: Weve got to fulfil de book. Forgot to add: Waiting In Vain [Edited 8/25/07 1:30am]

Buffalo Soldier ... what a wonderful song that still is and I'm sure Prince would dig the lyrics.
Woyo-yo...woyoyoyo! Forever changed

Yes, at some point early in his career, he was managed by Bob Marley´s manager for a brief time. The NPG has done quite a few Marley covers over the years but Prince didn´t sing. Rosie did the singing. Some people mentioned a few songs already but they did a couple more in the late 90´s ( around 98 or so). " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Prince & the NPG performed "No Woman No Cry" at an aftershow in San Francisco on 18th October 1998 and "Redemption Song" on 2nd January 1999 at Studio 54, MGM. I believe Rosie Gaines was on lead vocals on both occasions.
