I absolutely LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this song. It´s one of his best unreleased gems but I doubt he´ll ever release this version of it, with Nona Gaye singing and that early 90s arrangement...but I love it the way it is and I don´t think I´d like a re-recorded version because I´m already used to this one.
It´s light, airy, breezy, has sweet lyrics, the melody is beautiful.....the song is like sunshine packed into a song...the perfect summer song.
Too bad it never got officially released.
He wrote a couple of great songs with Nona Gaye.
Anybody knows what she´s up to these days ? I hope the crackhouse rumors aren´t true....I really like Nona Gaye.
