The Undertaker

I was looking up the non released CD The Undertaker last night, the one that was intended as a free gift with Guitar Magazine in the early 90’s just before Gold came out. If Warner Brothers wanted to destroy the CDs why did they just not snap them all in half or melt them down. It seems a bit laborious to cover one side in Shellac glue or what ever it is. I see the one sell for pretty crazy prices on eBay and from music collector stores for sometimes £200 and that can be for one that is covered in the stuff and not playable. Does anyone on here actually own one of these CDs, was it a working CD or one covered in Glue, has anyone on here successfully removed the glue and got one to play. I also notice all the ones on eBay have no covers etc. Had one not been produced for it at the time? Is the video worth getting as I won’t be paying £200 for a CD.? I am very intrigued.
