Okay just downloaded this album and loving it. Can't believe he recorded the whole thing in 4 and a half days, just him and Eric. Very cool. I think this will get played a lot in the next few weeks.

Loved his drumming on 7 and 8 is quickly becoming one of my favorite mellow Prince tracks - hypnotic, very relaxing.

How does 16 compare to this album? I think i'll torrent it over the next few weeks or so (still on slow-ass dial-up and only torrent occassionally).

There was more of a band effort on 16 wasn't there?

Man '86-'87 era Prince was on fire, going in so many different directions at once. Truely inspired.

"16"..more of the same really.. but with "Godfather" seques between tracks.... once you get that there's also MADHOUSE 24 (two versions ) to track down.. and don't forget the singles....( "6" b/w "6 1/2" 10 and a Half / 13 and a quarter)
