can anybody tell me a little bit about the Vault? dimensions - square footage? any pictures out there?

I think he's asking if the vault is an actual "vault" rather than Prince just having unreleased recordings laying around in various sections of his house. I've wondered if the vault was an actual place also.

i'm pretty sure it's "a vault" to some degree. maybe not the little box with a combination, but something that hides things.

I guess I imagined it being kinda like a fruit cellar converted to a tape archival room, you know, Prince cleared out the old beet jars and the dusty rowing machine and put in some shelves!

Long ago I'd heard something about a "Mosler vault" and a dehumidifier and that sorta stuff. Probably from that Time article written around '89-90. And I thought the front had some sort of ornate carving reminiscent of the "Parade" sculptures

am I just imagining things?

I recall Prince cleaning out the old beet jars and doing some maintenance on the shelves. Maybe this is his famed vault. Hmmmm , where did I see it, not on Housequake, wait, oh yeah, in the Purple Rain movie!
