Prince memory-The first time I saw the album Dirty Mind was in a Sears store. Sears used to have a section with records.I thought "this is that Prince I want to be your lover guy,who had that womans hair whos single I bought a year or so before". We turned the cover over and there's Prince, laid out with extended leg like a cheap ass skid row whore. I looked at the titles and thought "damn..he is nasty" in a prude fashion, not an intrigued fashion. I thought it was just some obscure record and that he was a weirdo for sure. It took 1999 fanaticism for my Prince balls to drop and go back and discover the album which had what I thought, some pretty good rock flavored garage tunes. I was then playing Sister for everyone who would listen at school to get their reaction. Sure I was two years late but still...others were onto Morris and crew singing Gigolos. But that back cover to DM boy...

I thought he was the Sexiest F*** I ever saw in my life. What a Hunk! The album is Fantastic. Did you know inside has a limited edition poster? Gorgeous. I wanna , I wanna Boogie Baby.

I'll agree that Dirty Mind was a wonderful album and the music kicked serious ass, but Prince? He's looks skanky.

Listen I Never thought of Prince as a girl. I always Knew he was a Man. I just thought he was the Sexiest guy I ever saw in my Life. Well the music that he creates has always been Different,Funky and Fun so I was just taken by it and then you know that Look just completed me . I was in Ectasy and we used to blast his nasty songs and just go wild and scream with my friends in my bedroom. All his posters in our rooms we all wanted to marry him you know he was our God. Our Mystery man. He was all of our Boyfriend. We kissed his face on the T.V. and we Dreamed of him looking at our Posters. We decided we were gonna save ourselves for Prince.

Back 2 da music, I think that "dirty Mind' is full of fuck you attitude, anger, depress and sadness. You just can feel the intensity from Dirty mind to Party Up, matta o' fact I liked how he ended this LP by a positive msg with a 'fuck U attitude' one the same time . I heard that after he released Prince and 4 U, ppl(critics) ander-esteemated his talent by thinking he ain't nothing but the boy next door who have nothing 2 sing about but brag about his SEXUALIYY and what happend in the Rolling Stone/Rick James tours made it worse. So, "Dirty Mind" was the result.

I don't like the LP that much comparing to Controversy.

Just my 2 cents.
